Japanese Embassy in Hanoi working hours:

The Embassy is open Monday through Friday, except on Vietnamese and Japanese holidays. Office hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. However, for services Visa extension, visa or consular, the specific times are as follows:

Notes for working at the Embassy of Japan:

1. Required documents: When you visit the Japanese Embassy, you must present your passport or national ID card for security purposes. Additionally, a copy of your passport with a clear photo may also be accepted.

Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang

The Consulate General of Japan in Da Nang was established on January 1, 2022, with the aim of strengthening diplomatic relations between Japan and Vietnam. It is an important diplomatic mission that provides consular services to Japanese and Vietnamese citizens in the region. 

However, at present, the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang does not issue Japanese visas.

• General working hours: 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM, Monday through Friday (excluding Vietnamese and Japanese holidays).

Notes for visiting the Consulate-General of Japan in Da Nang:

1. Reservation The Consulate General currently requires advance appointments for consular services. Please call +84-(0)236-3555-535 to schedule an appointment before visiting, as the Consulate does not accept appointments via email.
2. Required documents: When you come to work, you must bring your passport or a government-issued photo ID. Clear copies of these documents may also be accepted.
