1. Embassy of Norway in Hanoi
The Embassy of Norway in Hanoi handles the legalization of most documents, especially those in Vietnamese or certified copies used to apply for a Norwegian National Identity Number.

Consular legalization procedures for Norwegian documents for use in Vietnam
Consular legalization is an important process to verify the validity of documents so that they are recognized in another country. For Norwegian documents used in Vietnam, this process must comply with the regulations of both countries.
1. Legalization of Documents in Norway
Step 1: Document Certification by a Notary Public
Documents must be notarized by a notary public (Notarius Publicus). Documents that can be notarized include:

Step 2: Document Certification at the District Governor (Statsforvalteren)
