Notarized translation refers to the verification of the translator’s signature by the District Justice Division or the notarization of the translation by a notary office. There are thus two types of notarized/certified translations:

Certified translation by the District Justice Division is commonly referred to as a certified translation by the District Justice Division. This name stems from the fact that the certification is carried out by the legal department of the district or county. In this process, the office certifies that the collaborator has translated the document and affirms that it is an accurate translation of the original. The collaborator must be a qualified translator whose skills have been verified and who has signed a collaboration agreement with the state authority.

Notarized translation at a notary office involves the notarization of the translated document by a notary public.
